    i bought an amazing graphics card off wizz a while back, bfg 7800 gtx oc ow i'm thinking of sli ing it with another card, my question is this

    what kind of cards would be compatible in sli mode, does it have to be another 7800gtx?

    Yes it must be another 7800GTX though it doesn't matter which brand it comes from e.g BFG, XFX, MSI etc. it will work with 7800GTX's in SLI from other vendors. You also require an NVIDIA SLI motherboard chipset.

    Word of caution unless your monitor can handle resolutions greater than 1280x1024 then SLI with high end GPU's isn't worth pursuing as it is not effective at low resolutions.
