Why does this happen?

When I'm working on something in paint, and go to preview, it's as if the image is stretched vertically for some reason. I set it so the image is at 100% original size but it still does it. I have a widescreen monitor if that has anything to do with it? XP Pro!

    Any feedback appreciated:)

go to the bottom right of the paint screen and drag the little blue square up.

all of the whitespace is considered part of the picture

that doesn't do anything, I tried it with a perfect circle (shift and drag) and it comes out oval on the print preview:confused:

Probably something to do with your page setup, trying playing around with paper options, maybe margins too in there, also go through that to your printer settings and look at them.

Why are you using paint? Get a trial version of something decent, like CS2 or PSP even.

Im not sure if MS Paint aligns the print at all, but try using Windows Picture and Fax Viewer for the image. Right click on the pic and select Preview, it will give you an option to print easier there.

Tried all the ms paint/printer settings, no help:confused:

Does it happen to anyone else on paint when you draw a perfect circle and preview it?

Will have to use another program to print I suppose!

I've just gone into Paint and drawn a perfect circle and print previewed it, and its still a perfect circle in the preview

Perhaps it's because I have a widescreen laptop? I don't know. it's not happening with windows fax and photo viewer thingy.
