A small and uninteresting tournament hand.

Level 1 with blinds still 25/50. A player has just been crippled and pushes from EP for 375. The SB has some sort of ridiculous dwell up for about 20 seconds before calling. I'm in the BB. Both SB and I have about starting stack of 8K. Do I call or fold?

    what did you have?

i'd fold a lot of hands here.. I'd probably call with a decent ace, decent suited connectors and maybe a few PPs

The only time I have seen those ridiculous dwell ups recently is when they have a monster. Most recently I was all-in with 10-2 and some guy took ages to call, nobody else joined in and I beat his Aces with 2 pair :)
Anway if I go with the theory that it's a monster in the SB then I'm folding most of the time but I might call with mid suited connectors.

It's not one of those dwell ups.

seen as u havent given your hand in the OP and then again you didnt say what you have after it was asked ,i take it your point is whether or not you should call here with any two ?
if thats the question then no i dont think you should call here with any two cards .
i would call here with any PP ,any SC above 6 ,Ax x>5,any pictures etc.
but not with any two .

Of course I shouldn't call with any 2. In fact smooth calling didn't even enter my head. I raised to 1200 with K-7o knowing that the SB was never going to call me, I would only have to risk 325 to win 800 and I was unlikely to be any worse than 6-4 against the EP raiser. I hit a king and won the pot. The SB folded A-6 and would have hit trips.Funny thing was if the SB had folded I probably would have too.
