Interrailing this year and finishing up in dubrovnik, but i'm having trouble looking for somewhere to stay. any apartments i've looked at are too expensive or require you to stay for a week, when i'll only have 4 or 5 nights. anyone have any suggestions? cheers.

    You'll have a job inter-railing into Dubrovnik;)

If off season (not July/August) there's thousands of beds available at B&B types (Sobe) for about €20 or so.

    Basic but clean.

When you arrive in Dubrovnik (by bus I assume), you will be mobbed by people offering you a place to stay. If it was Dublin, you'd be worried, but this is normal over there. Most people seem to offer one or two of their rooms to stay in as a means to make extra cash.
The usual caveats apply though, obviously - if you're a girl alone, don't head off with some random guy, and don't be afraid to haggle or walk away if the room doesn't suit.
