My fiance received a morrison visa back in the 90s. She never used it and was wondering if she could still use it. Do they need to be validated in any way and do they expire?

If they actually went through the process of the interview and got the card etc it has a 10 year validity.
At the time the card was issues i am sure they would have been given instruction about when they had to enter the us and hence establish residencty there, thus validating the visa.
If they did not even start the process then I presume it is no longer valid.

I got a Schumer visa back in '96 and I had a four month window to travel to the US to convert it to a green card. The green card was then valid for ten years.

The Morrisons seemed to have much looser regulations than the Schumers, but I'd be surprised if you could let it go for ten years before you converted it to a green card.

You'd probably have to phone up the embassy to be sure, though.
