Kenny Cunningham and... wait for it... Graeme Souness have been confirmed as RTE pundits for the upcoming world cup. It should be fun seeing Souness in a studio with the likes Dunphy and Brady. :)

But is Souness doing the same games as Dunphy/Brady? Perhaps Cunningham + Souness are pundits for the less important games?

    omfg! Souness! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Ha! This is going to be very interesting. I would love to see Souness and Dunphy getting in a huge argument about something really trivial - possibly over the signings of Boumsong and Luque!

The one good thing about it is that for once it'll be impossible for Souness to leave his employers in worse state than when he arrived.

RTE's panel selections are the one thing I really miss about Ireland, and they've come up trumps again. I presume Giles is still on there too?

Ron would actually be a good addition, is Cunningham any good as a speaker? Or is he another block of wood?

judging by his outburst against birmingham he is well capable of speaking.

I seen him on Sky Sports once and I think he could have a decent career as a pundit. He knows his stuff.

I would be good if they could get Denis Irwin , I seem to remember him doing very well during the little bit of time he was on for Euro 2004 .

Souness is a very insightful pundit. Good capture by rte.

Yeah i've seen Souness on sky and there was nothing cringy about his pundit-ing.
And this is from a newcastle fan.

He can have a go over Boumsong!

I still think Luque will deliver (now that he doesn't have a Souness "hamstring-tear-o-matic" training regeim to put up with :) ! )

I'm sure they will have words at some stage.

There is few people I dislike more as a Pundit than Souness.
You know who'd be great, Keegan :) At least he'd be a laugh.

Imagine him and Dunphy going at each other over England's chances.
