DR Handmade Strings

Hey all,

Has anyone ever used DR Handmade Strings??

Going by their website they sound very good: http://www.drstrings.com/

Anyone know if they can be bought anywhere in Ireland or do I have to go looking further afield??

My mate uses them and they play really nice, but they dont last as long as d'addarios, they sound dead fairly quickly. On the topic of strings, I got 15 packets of Harley Benton "humanmade" .10 valuestrings from thomann at about a euro per pack, and they sound great, ive had them on my gibson for about 10 days and they're still bright and no breakages.

I use em on my bass and I love them. Though I can never seem to find them in Ireland so I get them from a dealer in the US.

Hey Slurms....which dealer do you use?? Could I have the website?? How much are they??

I'd be getting acoustic strings....I usually use Elixir's.....would the DR's be better than Elixirs or more or less the same??

Haven't played the DRs yet but I'd strongly recommend checking out Dean Markley SR2000's if you get a chance.
