    Hey does anyone know of a site that will tell me how much ram my onboard graphics uses?

    you can find it out for yourself if you use 2000/xp
    right click the desktop and click on properties --> settings --> advanced --> adapter. it should show how much ram your onboard adapter has there.
    i have 8mb :eek:

    WOW what spec is your computer it appears to be worse then mine!!! I thought I had the oldest computer here. Mine has access to 32 MB!

    Will a 32 MB Gforce 2 be better then my onbpard graphics??

    it is a 1998 gateway, and does me fine for interwebbing!
    have a new machine for me new gaff when i move in next week. i won't know myself with the speed n all!!! :)

    My onboard graphics unit is the Intel(r) 82810E.

    Morrowing needs directx 8.1 i doubt the Gforce 2 supports that??

    I would have to say so that a GeForce 2 would be substatially quicker then.

    But the gf2 won't be able to handle any of the new games out anyhow.

    Yes, it will support 8.1 no problems, but it won't play any new or even new-ish games, especially not the 32mb version of the Geforce2...alot of recentish games from up to about 2003 actually support the Geforce 2 64mb but unfortunately not the 32mb version....

    But it will definately be alot better then your onboard solution.

    Really?? My Onboard has access to 30MB of memory Just to clarify and make sure your not thinking of quiadox. Will the 32MB geforce 2 play Morrowind??
