ide and sata together

    anyone know of any difficulties putting in a sata hdd with an ide hdd in the same machine.will they both work ok?

    absolutely no problem. Had to transfer a backup from SATA to IDE drives today, worked fine.

    Why do you ask? I've never heard anything about SATA/IDE compatability. ever.

    Currently have an old 40GB IDE drive in the same rig as a 250GB SATA2, so you should have no problems.

    I've both a SATA and IDE HDD drives in my current machine. No problems whatsoever though I'll be upgradign the IDE drive shortly to another SATA.

    They should work better than Sato and Ide in an F1 team together :D I crack myself up... Go Super Aguri!
