Motor tax : Which form?

I've recently purchased a new car and I need to get a motor tax disc for it. I've checked the Oasis web site but I'm still unclear as to what form I need to fill out. The car has a 01 reg so it's new to me but I can't figure out whether it needs to be an RF100 or and RF100A form. I could wait till Monday and ask in the tax office but it would be great if someone could let me know beforehand.

I should have mentioned that I've just got back the reg cert in the post so the car is in my name, I'm just not sure which form needs to be filled in to tax it.

RF100 is only for brand new vehicles and the garage issues that form or the revenue dept if its an import. So fill out 100A.

I vrt'd a car on thursday and got the registration number but never got the RF100. Are they supposed to post it out?
