Query about quad lnb and motor...

I have a Strong 6355 as my receiver and it controls a motek motor for 13, 19, 28 and 42e.

I was thinking of buying a quad lnb (only need a twin, but might as well future proof) and using it with one of the comag receivers.

When I switch between satellites on the Strong, obviously it sends a signal to the motor and it moves. So, if for example I have been watching hotbird and decide to go to bed and watch something on astra 2, how would the Comag know that it has to move the dish? Actualy, how can it move the dish as the motor only has one input............

    Anyone got any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    MJ

    It can't
Only one Rx can control Dish.
    I have a separtate fixed dish for 13, 19, 23.5 & 28E

    The 28E is a quad.

    The Motor does 42E, 39E, 33E, 28E, 19E, 16E, 13E, 10E, 7E, 5E, 1W, 5W, 8W, 12.5W, NSS7, 30W and a few more.

I have a loop through on the motorised receiver to feed an Analogue receiver.

The Motorised Dish does have a dual, only because thats what I used to have on 28E.

Once in a blue moon I disconnect on of the four fixed LNB signals going to PC card via Diseqc 4way and feed diseqc with this spare signal to direct disk record something not on the fixed LNBs. The Motorised system Receiver in all cases selects the satellite.
