How to make the move away from sales..

Hi, so I started in advertising sales back in Aug '05 and have progressively worked towards where I was yesterday - and easy job with few targets and high earnings potential etc. Today the company have decided that my contract needs to be revised which will quadrouple my workload and probably cut my earnings (I knew I was onto a good thing, but all good things must end).

So today I've started snooping around, but nothing sounds good! I don't want to go back to a highly pressurized sales floor with targets being screamed at me. But from what I can make out, its either sales or an admin job - and with the admin job I'd have to start at the bottom rung as I don't have much admin experience.

I can't take anything less than 25k, with loan repayments and rent etc. I guess my question is, did anyone else find it a bitch to move away from sales without taking a massive pay cut? What do I do?

btw. I'm 22 with an honours diploma
bbtw. please don't shoot me down, I'm looking for genuine advice.

What about a job in a recruitment agency? It's basically a sales job, with a small bit of HR thrown in. You can make good money. Also, working for a recruitment website as a sales person is fairly low pressure and high pay. I know of one which is hiring and pays very well (easy work!) PM me and I'll tell you their name.

Other than that... to change careers completely I think you'll have to start on less than 25k...
