Aparently this one doesn't use the Wiimote, just the 'classic' controller or similar. Which is a bit disapointing but probably neccessary for the [fighting] style of game.

Not that I don't have four GameCube controllers already (which I imagine will work fine in place of the new classic control), but is the classic controller shipping with the console? I'd assumed not. Maybe they'll try and bundle it with a game such as as SSBB.

i would have thought the console would come with both controls. Maybe thats why there were the rumours of the $250 price tag?

WOW! A tear come outa my eye when i watched that cause that looks F***in awesome! It's nice to see they have kept it the same too more or less. Wonder how solid snake and Wario will play in the game. Really can't wait to get the wii now. I hope it is released as a launch title. That, Zelda and a few other titles should keep me happy to for months.

Looks fantastic. It's not a launch title but seeing how Metroid Prime: Corruption is, I have no complaints

Interview on EuroGamer says Mario's not for launch.

that would still be good though. If they managed to have all three grade 1 titles for christmas the sales could be really boosted. So who thinks they'll launch worldwide on their special date, November 7th or so isn't it??

You can use either of the 3 (classic, GC, remote) youu want.

Directed by series creator Masahiro Sakurai, the title will feature combat using a classic, GameCube style, as well as via new motion-sensitive gameplay. To confirm - you'll be able to play this with, and without motion sensitive controls

I loved the start of the video when the graphics get upgraded. Kirby is like "WTF!" Ah, quirky nintendo.

This game seems to be quite popular in the Japan. Nintendo have started a survey to ask the people who'd they would like to see in the game. Snake might only be the start of third party parties.

Sonic would be cool in it, other than that... hrm... Conker would be kinda funny, I'd love to see something really bizarre though, like a 3D model version of the NES Mario (the really pixelated one), or the dog/duck from Duck Hunt (although they're all first party).
Other third party... viewtiful joe, Sam Fisher, Lara Croft (with special Foxy Boxing mode for her and Samus :D:D)
