My father was trying to delete three emails from his account, but when he clicked delete it had deleted almost all of them, leaving 11 out of the 53. I used the back button (Opera Version 7.51) and tried to move them to a different folder but it still deleted them all. ANy reasons why this would happen and what I can do? Please reply soon.

ANy reasons why this would happen
Because hitting the back button on the browser doesn't reverse the action on the server.
    what I can do?
Be more careful next time. That is all.

aidan wasn't being an ass, he was telling you the truth.

once a email is deleted there's no way you can get it back unless you contact microsoft and see if they can restore it for you, which is a real long shot in my books.

The deleted emails would simply have been moved to the trashcan folder. Go into the trashcan folder and restore them to your inbox.

As for why it would do this, you must have had the checkboxes for all those emails checked otherwise there is no way they would get deleted.

Does it not just move them to the deleted items folder?

Yeah the emails should be in the trash can, just move them back into the inbox, unless he emptied the trash can himself. I think the messages remain in there for 30 days until they are deleted automatically.
