Channel 4 in Ireland

    I have sky digital I know this question has being asked many a time
    but I can not get the correct answer .
    how do you get channel 4 on sky box.

    I have tried adding the channel manual at 121168 V 27.5 5/3 and the channel show up but I can not view it .

    Some people have said it is not FTA ok thats fine

    So I rang up sky to see can I get a subception The women on the line never heard of channel 4, a few minutes later she comes back AH you mean TG4
    NO !!!! channel 4 she then says sorry I can not help you.

    So can anybody give me a stright answer on channel 4

    simple answer is no.. you can't get it in ireland...

    long answer is you can with a uk FTA card..

    you can have Channel 4 on a Sky box providing you have a FTV card or UK subscription. a Republic of Ireland card is useless for Channel 4

    same applies for five
