Students are to investigate the existence of ghosts as part of a degree course looking at people's experience of the paranormal.

I know i'd do this course if i could and as it is i might look around for online courses. Having already gotten a certificate in Psychic Developement (aren't we great stevenmu?!?) I'd love to take it forward more.

I'd be interested in doing that course. Would have to wait till I finished my current degree before considering that one!

There seems to be something in London, Herts and Cambs, which I may look closely at...

Heres one online set of courses i might actually take up: http://www.unifaculty.com/
They seem to have some good stuff and though its not cheap i think i would be a little concerned if it was!

I might actually consider doing one or two of those myself after my degree here... I need something useful, seeing as I'm beginning to think I've wasted a hell of a lot of money on my current degree! :(

Now that we're certified, surely we can set just up our own courses ? :)

Is being certified mean the same thing as certifiable?;)

Yeah, I thought it was very good. It wasn't really a case of a 'teacher' standing at the front lecturing the 'class' on how to be a psychic. It was more of an introduction to the various topics involved and a different way of thinking, with a lot of group discussions and trying things out on each other.
Looking back I think it was very much how a development circle should work.

I agree isnt wasnt really a "class" type situation but the meditation techniques were very good and the introduction to alot of different areas like past lives, aura reading and psychometry was very informative. Will definately be doing more.
I'm gonna posta bit of news in the Spirituality Forum as it doesnt really belong here .... but it is bizare!

The (Formerly Irish) Institute of Parapsychology & Metaphysics (established in 1984) is primarily based in South Dublin, with links in Uk & USA as it will be moving out of Ireland. Personal and Group training, and online courses are available for suitable applicants. There is currently a 2 yr waiting list and admission is extremely limited.
