So these machines are cancelled orders/repaired machines? What sort warrenties do they have?? Can i phone dell, purchase a machine from the outlet and add say a 15inch lcd to the order??

A woman i know whats a new, cheap machine that will "do the internet", and im not arsed makin her something, But also want some warrenty on the cheap machine.

sometimes it is cheaper just to buy one of the basic 1100 from the main dell site as by the time you add in shipping, vat and a monitor you generally aren't saving that much, hell sometimes it is even dearer. Just get your friend to fork out the 429 euro on a machine with a 15 flat panel monitor

The UltraSharp is better (has DVI aswell as VGA) (1505FP)
