Utg who is quite good and very tight makes it 20 utg. 2 Callers I make it 80 more, to 100. She respects my play but probably thinks my reraising range is a lot wider than it really is here. (She probably thinks I have AK here a lot, not AJ) She calls.

The flop is 23J 2 hearts. She checks I bet 150, she calls.

The turn is a jack 9(not heart), we both check.

River a 7(not heart), she bets 250 - I go all in for 400 more (she cpvers me just)

    good, bad indifferent?

If she is as tight as you say you can rule out AJ/KJ/QJ. JJ for quad jacks is a possibility.. but I'm guessing she'd have folded JJ pre-flop out of position.

She probably has KK, QQ or AA. If she thinks QQ or KK is good she'll call a push to 650 faster than a min-raise to 500.. so in that respect I like the push. You maximise your profit by pushing if she has QQ/KK.

However if she has QQ, KK or AA and she's worried u have the jack or maybe a house, you might get her to fold AA for the split pot, which again maximises your profit.

If she has 4 jacks thats just unlucky.. but i think in the long run by pushing you make more money.

    what does this mean?

I think her range is limited to JJ/QQ/AKh here but I'd lean more towards JJ given the way she's played it. I tihnk of the hands you beat you're only getting looked up by KK here, In fact if she's as tight as you say you're probably never getting looked up by anything other than quads.

How tight is she? Is there any chance she has JTs or QJs?

What does she lead the river with after you both check the turn? Not any pair lower than JJ most likely. She would probably bet QQ and KK on the river, and JJ obviously. I can't see her having any other hand (like a small set, 33) but JJ-AA, so I like the push.

Well played. I like it all.

However - what will villain lead the river with ... expecting to get called?

    Turn was a jack

I think she calls with JJ/TT preflop most of the time, but folds any lower pps. She certainly folds any other hnad that contains a jack, ie TJ or AJ. On the flop she check calls, so she has TT JJ QQ KK AA, I really doubt she flat calls with a draw on the flop, but you cant rule it out. The turn is a bit of a pain so we check. On the river she leads for 250, I dont think this neccessarily means she has a big hand, she is going to assume her KK QQ is good here and is half value betting/half blocking bet. I dont think its in my interests to make other players lives easy, so I go all in. It unfortunate that it looks like I have a jack or 77, but she cant make a mistake if I just call. She thought for a good while then folded.

I also think that JJ probably leads or raises the flop.

I like it all except the check on the turn although this probably ended up working very well for you...I'm not at your level so can you explain your play on this street?

In villains position, I like a check/call on the river with KK/QQ.

I really doubt she flat calls with a draw on the flop

    Why? What are stack sizes?
AhKh, how would she play it(not like this hopefullY)

Because of the draw I usually bet the turn.
Did u check the turn because you were confident she was not on a draw??

Because U did check the turn I really like the river push.

the check on the turn is kind of automatic in that spot, keep the pot small and get to a showdown, (allthough) I didnt follow that logic on the river. Against a normal player who could well have a jack the default would be to chk the turn then call a bet on the river.

Theres only 1 possible draw, AH KH so im not too concerned with that. If one person sees the flop I dont usually worry about draws, especially if they are tight and have called a reraise preflop.
