I have an English card in a Pace digibox. I am now getting a message to say no satellite signal is been received. I have tried another digibox on the staellite cable and it works perfectly

What is happening and what can i do?

It sounds like a tuner fault, Contact your local tv shop or local installer to get it repaired or just buy a new digibox

If it a pace 2500 it almost certinally the tuner. If more than 3 years old not worth repairing (cost to repair 60 to 120 Euro), get a newer one and the EPG etc will be much faster.

Have you tried unplugging the box for 30 secs. and then plugging it back in to reboot?

I suggest you try what grahamo said. If that fails, it's most likely the tuner.

I personally wouldnt' bother fixing a Pace 2500/2200, as they're rather slow anyway. Just get a second hand box (I'd recommend Panasonic boxes), or go the whole hog and get a new one.

*note that when you change your box, you'll need to ring SKY to pair the card to new box (for premium channels like Sky Sports, etc).

    Hi,

I am also getting this error message but only on certain channels. Most channels work perfectly well but sky news and some other channels are affected.
By the way i installed a quad LNB a few months back and added another digibox. I have seen this error on the second digibox aswell.
    Any suggestions would help.

What other channels are affected? Looking to see if there is a pattern...

As it's affecting both boxes, it's either alignment or LNB is faulty.
