This is nothing new, and doesn't even nearly explain the solid metallic craft people claim to have seen. Also, I'd be quite curious as to how much of there findings were scientiffically varified, as opposed to lazy hand waving.

The linked article includes the paragraph, "It has been a bad year for conspiracy theorists. Last month, the “Roswell incident”, another favourite, was debunked. John Humphreys, a special effects expert behind the television cyber-presenter Max Headroom, claimed he was one of the hoaxers behind grainy black and white footage supposedly showing an autopsy on alien corpses in 1947. He said the bodies were latex models".

Do I have to point it out?

How has the Roswell Incident been debunked? A phony film, that we all knew was faked, being proved a hoax only proves that there are plenty of sharks and con-artists in the peripery of paranormal studies. But to say it proves the entire incident to be a hoax is like saying "Cameron used special effects and actors to make Titanic, so the Titanic mustn't have existed!"

To say this is news is exaggeration of the most extreme kind. How carefully did Mr Jack Grimston research the remainder of his carefully aimed article?

(Anyone want to make a bet on a Max Headroom comeback this year or next??)

Couldn't agree more. Anyone who has read up on the subject of the Roswell incident will also reject the disinformation that is the Project Mogul cover-story.

As regards the original topic, I certainly don't think that plasma or any other natural phenomenon explains away the 'good' UFO reports. I'm torn between the nazi/extraterrestrial and ultraterrestrial theories myself.
One thing is for sure, and has been proven, the US government has actively supressed UFO information and data, and attempted to ridicule or marginalise genuine witness reports.
