Hey was just wondering if anyone knew anything about Risbergska in sweden. And about sweden in general. Planning on taking an adventure to there with a few mates in September so we are. Maybe some scandanavian interrailing.

Never heard of that place, but Sweden is cool.

Beautiful ladies. Try and go in July if you can. Weather would be pretty good then.

all we know is that its in the middle type of region and that there is a giant mushroom there. its sounds like we came up with this plan while of our heads which i assure people we didn't.

I posted a load of stuff about Stockholm after I got back: stockholm info

I found the city lovely, and it wasn't that expensive either. It'd be like Irish prices. Fabulous country though, I can't wait to go back again :)

yeah what i heard was that the prices are the same as here so if your expecting to get dirt cheap drink and stuff you're going to be very upset.

Slightly more expensive for drink. Shop around if buying food or self catering (small supermarkets are the best). If it's hot and you're in the city, the cheapest place for a quick soft drink is usually McDonald's.

What are you planning on doing during the day? The area is lovely if you're into hiking, nature and swimming in lakes (surprisingly warm - recommended!), but you may get a wee bit bored if you're not.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

no idea yet, we don't plan on jst sticking in one spot i don't think. Is it Rigbeska(??) thats dull in the day or stockholm?

My sister lives in Gothenberg and I go back and forth quite a bit. It really isn't as dear as it used to be mainly because we are getting so screwed over here, the only thing I can see being VERY expensive is if you drink in the bars!

The weather is great at the moment but you should head of in July and August for maximum sunshine, beautiful country, people speak english better than us, amazing public transport, people are friendly enough, apparently they can be rude as you head towards stockholm. Enjoy!

Sorry, might have mislead you a bit. I've driven through the county a few times but never been to the town itself. The area is lovely to view, but some of the smaller towns are just that - small. Nice, cosy, scenic, but small. If you're travelling around a bit, mightn't be a problem though.
