Please Settle A Bet for Me

I recently held an argument with a very unreasonable person, where I suggested that a certain place (We'll call it X) in Ireland was a popular Stag/Hen party destination. He disagreed. I then said that this place , which I cannot mention as It may effect your opinions, was in the top 3 Stag/Hen destinations in Ireland. He strongly disagreed.

I searched the net for a top 5 that would prove me right but I was unable to find one. If anyone knows of a link that states in plain figures what the top 5 or 10 stag destinations in Ireland are, could you please post the link here. If not, Could you please state your opinion of the top 3 Stag/Hen destinations. If X doesn't appear in most of your lists, then I will submit that I am wrong and loose a fiver, and some pride.

I’d say the top for lads is Kilkenny (that paint ball place), Galway, Waterford and that adventure place in mayo/Galway.

Hens, Kilkenny, Galway, Places where there’s a spa, or Belfast.

Is your answer one of them?

I would think that Temple Bar would definitely be the most popular. Galway is the next closest I can think of, but only because I have been to a couple of stag nights there (and it's a cool city to go out in).

Templebar seems most popular for UK stag parties, whereas it seems everybody in Dublin goes to Kilkenny for theirs.

I would have thought it varied depending on whether the stag/hen party are from ireland or the uk. if they are from the uk, then definitely has to be temple bar. but most irish people would avoid that precisely because it's over-run with people from the uk. i would suggest kilkenny for the irish, perhaps followed by galway and wexford.

I'd have gone with those 3 too.
But I've also been to a stag in Carlow town, Westport and two in Wexford. In all those places there were loads of Hens going on (wasn't particularly looking out for other stags )
