WANTED: Reliable cheap CD-Rewriter Drive?

    Hi all,

    I bought an internal BenQ CD Rewriter a while back but it never worked with my DELL running on Windows XP (It couldn't see any CDs in the drive).

    Anyway, does anyone know where to get a cheap, reliable (external or internal) CD Rewriter Drive online or in Dublin? Preferably well under €50 if at all possible, and not from eBay!

    All help very much appreciated!

    I have a freecom 4x external usb cdrw works fine under xp very reliable. Youn interested ?

    I have a Lite-On 48x internad CDRW drive, about 3 months old bought in Maplins for about €50, you can have it for €25 if you want?

    I bought this similar type combo drive last year from Komplett and fitted it in my Dell 4550 and had no probs at all. I think it was about €45 - €50 incl. delivery

    Thanks for the offer of the second hand CD Rewriters Kristok and Jebusmusic, but I think I'd rather buy a new one - already had difficulty with one too many CD Rewriters!

    Muffler, thanks for the advice about Komplett, don't need to rewrite DVDs so maybe I'll go for one of the cheaper CD Rewriters they sell - shame their delivery charge is so high!
