upgrade on o2 to xda atom?

Lo all, my o2 contract is gonna run out in june and Im wondering will the xda atom be available for upgrade by then? if so anyone know how much it will cost abouts? oh also, if anyone knows of a better phone/pda solution to buy elsewhere for under 500 please post up too. thanks in advance.

the xda mini S will be available sometime in late may or june..as far as i know there are no plans to release the atom in the irish market
