OK just got my new pc after months delay and am ready to boot up BF2. Here are a fe questions.

Can I get some good play with jsut BF2 at the moment or should i upgrade to the expo and booster?

What servers should i play on?

Should i start right of on rnaked servers.

What websites give me my stats?

You can always find lots of servers no matter what version you have. or i should say, whether you have the expansion packs or not, DO make sure you're patched up to date tho:)

You could try the boards servers, not sure how they are, because i haven't, but i 've heard it's a pretty good buzz and i'm sure they'd look after you.

It depends whether or not you care about your stats.

No need to buy any of the boosters, SF, EF or AF.

Play on the servers with the lowest ping to you.

I use the free All Seeing Eye to find my servers as I can decide which map to play on and which country and so forth...

Booster packs don't bother, when you find out what unlocks are, get onto us here or one of your friends that has special forces for the 2nd tier unlocks, its all SF has done for me really.

Pick 16 to 20 person servers first, 64 can be overwhelming when starting off.

If you're going to be big into stats, start off in unranked servers, took me ages to get my KD ratio above 100% after my noobie death sprees start on ranked.

Best advice i can give is buy battlefield vietnam or dod:source. you know, games where guns actually damage the enemy instead of producing a slight tickling sensation before the guy youve been shooting at for 5 minutes turns around and one shot kills you. Use bf2 as an expensive coaster, or possibly frisbee

One thing for certain bud,Bf2 can be frustrating with the aiming ,But hang in there

Tbh jack Bf2 is my second most played game according to xfire, behind bfv. 250 odd hours of bfv, about 170 hours of bf2, but im close to giving up on it completely. I just dont enjoy playing it in the slightest, all it does is piss me off.

well i been playing all morning and all i can say is wow

my new rig lets me play on relitivly high specs, like the game looks gorgous and runs so smoothly.

I think the games amazing i think the aim is fine to me, banging kills left right and centre.

I jsut need to get the ent started up and play online.
