For me, it's when I make a bad bad play. Like when you make trips but you know deep in your soul you're opponent has a boat and you pay him off anyway.

Anything and everything. I'm a tilt monster.

    Things that come to mind:

    Winning a big pot
    Losing a big pot
    Losing with AK vs Krag.
    Runner runner
    Getting rivered
Losing when i get my chips in ahead(always get them in while i'm ahead. ALWAYS!)

Taking 3 or more "bad beats" (two outers after the flop, runner-runner fcuk you's). Also playing for too long makes me tilt, I just get bored unless I'm raking it in. The thought of playing for 5 hours and not only making nothing but LOSING really pisses me off. Breaking even tends to have the same affect. I like to work out my hourly rate after a decent live win and shove it in my friends minimum waged faces. Theyre not very impressed if i tell them i made -18 euro/hour

I consider myself relitively tilt free in live games. Only tilted badly once to date

I agree totally with the playing too long, i only get involved in hands where i have either AA, KK, AK, try and limp in on all other pocket pairs trying to hit trips & Ax suited. Then bet aggressively.

As you can imagine the night can be long waiting for these hands and then getting a big play. Just a matter of patience but if you have it you will get a big play and chances are you will win it. But some nights it doesn't come and i just snap and go on tilt and usually blow my $200, but then theres nights like last night where i got 3 plays and came out with $567 profit.

Patience is the key for me.

AJ versus J8, J on flop, 8 on river when all the money has gone in.

    Ass-Clowns make baby Jesus cry.

Especially in live tournies where you have to show it, its just plain embarrassing. Although it dosent usually last long, your either pretty much eliminated or your got so much chips it didnt matter, rarely is it in between for me.

last night - about half an hour into a Vegasbaby multitabling session.....getting it all with KK against AA pre-flop on one table while simulataneously getting it all in with KK vs JJ pre-flop on another table.

$560 in total in the middle simulataneously

needless to say the first hand lost - rebuy!!

he hit his J on the river on the second one - rebuy!!

I tilted madly (of course) and ended up even for the session - where the hell is the moral in that?

I tilted madly (of course) playing about 45% of all pots on full ring tables and yet clawed back the losses and ended up even for the session - where the hell is the moral in that?

Tilt is my new friend...must just remember to go on tilt before I get the bad beats!!

im with you on this one. i've managed to perfect the art of giving the table a friendly tap and saying "nice hand" when some muppet sucks out on me because i know i'll get my money back at some point and abusing him/ steaming isn't goin to help that.

I haven't got to grips with when i make a donkey play i knew i shouldnt have, correctly putting someone on a hand thats beating me but calling anyway. i can be a big 'self tilter' at times but i'm getting better.

when I flop a set and some guy with his flush draw moves in, hits and the board doesn't pair. 4 in an hour does the job nicely, especially when you've raised or reraised the pot big with KK/AA and hit and some nitwit with J3s has called you.

I'll tell you what can make you tilt being rivered to quads, running in to quads twice with a house, running ace high flush in to a straight flush twice.

All the above in 4 hours.

Im officially on tilt, it's for this reason i've very promptly shut down shop and called it a day.

Im off to the drinks cabinet and to see my girlfriend Mary Jane.
