    Hi all ima bass player im 18 and im looking to start playing in a band or even form one.I have been playing for four years and im looking to start getting about music.Im looking for a band that I could slot into with the same style and sound I have.

    Im only going to name two or three influences but if you ask I can give you more info.

    Hi I am forming a band at the moment. i'm nearly 20, playing music about 5 years. lead vocals and guitars. Very influenced by Pumpkins, Zwan, JJ72, Feeder and also Led Zep, Lizzy and ACDC. alt rock/classic rock band.

    Practice in Dublin city centre.

    Howya dude.. Were actually lookin for a bassist at the mo and you sound different than the rest. In a good way. Were writing our own stuff, ready to gig but our own bassist held us back (wrong attitude, no commitment etc..) although were based in tallaght tho so maybe that wudn be the best option no..

    Well it all depends on where you practice if its in tallaght thgen there is not chance of me being able to get out there in the near future but if it was in town somewhere then that wouldnt be bad i could make that.What sound do you guys have?

    Kinda hard to say man.. Like a new-wave indie rock. Tryin to be a bit catchy tho.. Influenced by Kings of Leon, Bloc Party, Maximo Park, The Police, Beatles, The Jam, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, The Frames, to narrow it down a little.. What kinda stuff ya into? Yeah were all set up here in Tallaght so id say that kinda kills it...

    hey man, im in a band from swords (well guitar and drums at the moment) were 18 and 19, we play mostly our own stuff (kind of rocky with a funky undertone) and our influences are pretty broad, pm me if your interested in setting up a jam
