First one was the best! Nice creative edge to them, though!

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I love the first one! Really beautiful shot IMO!

And I wouldn't be ashamed if I took the other two pictures... :)

The first one is good, I like it. the second is a bit under exposed in the lower half and the third makes me go wtf? It like feels like the sky is too dark, my eye keeps being drawn to it.

I think the first one works the best - it looks really well overall - the colours and the composition. The third one looks good too but the composition is a bit tricky - and the eye isnt drawn to any particular part of the picture (imo). The light trails from the traffic on the left are a bit distracting from the walkway and the hapenny bridge. The tones and contrast are really good though.

I think the first one is great because I've walked past that building and thought how dull and boring it is, and the glow of the sign makes it look really cool in that picture. If I was going to be niggly I would suggest trying night-time shots like this actually just after the sun has gone down and the sky is tha lovely dark blue colour. It gives a better background, and you'll need slightly shorter exposures as well.

I think the second picture is let down by the bland sky. There's a lot of interest in the boats in the water, and the houses along the side so it might have been best to concentrate on those, that way you won't be including the sky in the frame.

I just *love* that sky in the third picture (hmmm I'm talking about the sky in all three, it's a coincidence honest) it looks fabulous though. I find the really bright patch on the left with the car trails a bit distracting, so it maybe could have worked with a shorter exposure.

I hope you find these comments useful, so many people have helped me out in the past I'm hoping I can pass some of it on. Keep posting your pictures :)

first and second ones are holiday pics but u really got something goin on with the third one - the tree moving in the wind/centre of focus as the bridge reflection is just left casually taking up the right background ... harsh lines of the quayside buildings broken up by the askew liffey Streetlights .... something different is key .. the first two shots dont have this.

    Hi All,
they were taken with my canon eos 30, normal lens, tripod and fuji 800 poloriser filter (1st shot) and hp5 & red filter (3rd shot), with shutter release

    As for FW's comments,
fair enough the second shot was taken in Venice and I am working on photoshoping it.
As for your 'holiday' comment on the first shot, I completley disagree with you. I sold 2copies of that image to Irish ppl at the last ppl's photography.

Elven, thank you for your helpfull comments, I am going to get out before the sun sets and experiment a bit more

    ;)
