    do you mean irish terrestial?

does it retune all the stations when you use it?, (i think our channel frequecncies vary a lot, i have to retune every time i move house)

i only tried the guides thing last week for the first time, but it usese its own frequencies,so after re-tuning all the stations for the 4th time i just gave up

    just seen it now,
if you go to "set up guide",
you can select "ntl digital" , and so on,
instead of having to make a custom guide,

means an end to mce guide thrashing

    tis absolutely brillian news :D

mukki, if you're having trouble with terrestrial reception your best bet is to put the frequencies that work best for you into C:\Windows\ehome\MCETuningOverrides.xml

You wouldn't beleive me if i told you how much listings for each channel cost. There should be for Setanta (i think), and we had data for the City Channel but decided to swap it for Channel 6.

abc1 is availble in the uk afaik,
city channel was availble last week,
    had setanta on unmapped cable.

dont see why they can have it on one listing, but not another?

Is it not in the best interest of the channel to let its potential viewers know what's coming up on their channel???

    Setanta has no listings:(

    setanta does have listings,
they just put it in as "setanta uk"...

what do you mean swapped chan 6 for city chan other 40coats?
who did you swap for it?
surely ntl can handle giving you both?
feck it, buy me an rte guide and ill move out to the eoc and do it for you.....

Not really sure what you're asking here but if you want to remove channels from the guide you can do it in the "Edit Channels" section of the guide settings (you just need to unselect them). From memory it's Settings>Tv>Guide>Edit Channels. If it's data missing from some channels it's either a bug or they're not supported, if you let me know which ones i'll see if i can find out.

i ment that the guide data is missing for alot of channels.

uk style and some other ones. this is weird because if i use the sky guide for the uk i can get all the channels but the mappings are different

Mixed results for me (swords chorus analogue)

Better tuning on most of the channels except Sky News which has got worse.

    Guide now correctly finds eurosport.

    Really wrong bits :

Guide puts Scfi channel name and listings on actual Channel 4
Guide puts Channel 4 name and listings on actual Channel 6

Will try it for a few days and then may revert to unmapped.
