Fat Freddies is the bestest eaterie in Galway. Ok its a Pizza place and technically thats not a Chinese but just ask Freddy to put some soy sauce on your Magical Margherita and all will be well.
Tell your boyfriend thats hes the greatest you've ever had. He will appreciate this random act of kindness. Trust Pighead on this and enjoy your chinese Pizza you lucky thing.

There is one out near the hospital, it's nice. Forget the name.

There is one out near the hospital is nice. Forget the name atm.
Tar buddy you're a hell of a lot better than that post.
Its vague, the syntax is all over the place, you use shorthand that could be confused with a banking money machine. Now because of your impeccable previous record Pigheads gonna let this one slide. Don't see this as an angry post, see it more as a "I'm here if you want to talk about it" post. Talk soon Tar.

It's all the exam stress. I'm all over the place... I must ring that Webster hotline again. :/

I've always loved Fat Freddies ... so yummy! If it was in Dublin, I'd eat there once a week. :)

Maybe not Chinese, but Eastern Tandoori (Indian) is really, really nice!

And there's a really good Asian restaurant in Salthill (Upper Salthill) - Pan Thai! The food is superb!

The nicest place Iv ate in Galway was the Skeffington Arms on Eyre Square tbh... Not very ethnic but just really nice tasty grub..

Go to the Thai Garden, nice place for a birthday dinner, reasonable prices and nice setting.

I find it a bit noisy/stressfull there, not the place for a birthday dinner but ok for a fast snack before the pub.

best chinese, or so i'm told, is on shop street across from easons. King's Garden afair.
Thai garden is really good aswell as lemongrass.
Oscar's over on dominic street has a unusual feel to the place but fabulous food. their presentation and service is great. some of the dishes will shock you!

Ah but I'm a student, so I don't mind it. Probably not good for a special occassion as you say, but since I haven't been there in well over six months, the post made me realise how much I miss it. ;)

If your idea of fun is 500 people squeezing into a premises desgined to hold 100 people then your in luck. When I was there it seemed most places were like that, well maybe thats just weekend nights?
