Afaik there's no problems associated with it. Can't see why there would be as there's no major concentration of anything damaging in it.
On a side question how desperate are you too lose weight?

Bruce Banner didn't think there was anything wrong with too much green tea. Look how he turned out.

Yeah curves sucks for keeping the losses going best bet is to get out jogging or walking and cut out carbs after 5pm.

2 stone is rather a lot of weight to lose in 2 months isn't it ?? Wouldn't it depend on whether or not you have that much to lose ? I mean if you're 5'11" and 90KG you'll find it difficult losing that much - I know I am ! Where as if you're 5'11" and 120KG it may be a lot easier - no ? You guys with experience know any better here ?

From experience the best way to lose weight is anything that gets your heart rate up into the fat burn zone - 130 - 160 bpm (depends on several criteria of course like age etc.) So plenty of walking cycling and jogging and a careful diet - Less bread and foods with hydogenated fats and more veg, fruit a,d oily fish and plenty of water. This worked for me anyway. Acetyl-L-Cernitine (sp?) may help a little.

    Good luck !

thats why i was asking if it was the beginning or end.

its not only alot of weight to lose, but its also an unhealthy rate to lose it at, and if your motivation is a bet and nothing more, you'll probably just gain it back again afterwards.

A stone a month is easy to loose, depends on the mindset of the person doing it though, it requires total commitment.

At the weekends I drink about 15 - 20 cups of Green / Oolong tea each day. I have been doing this for about three years now and have noticed no ill-effect. I am of normal weight and have been doing weight-lifting, cycling, jogging, and rowing for 6 years.

Herbal teas will not make you lose weight on their own unless you are extremely dedicated to having a good diet along with it. I would sugget joining a gym and begin by jogging 5 minutes. Gradually increase the time you spend on the treadmill thereafter.

It might be easy to loose but whether its good to lose that much is another thing. As Seraphina said, you will probably put it all on again, fast. Also, losing so much so fast, alot of it is bound to be muscle, and you dont want to be losing that!!

I've been reading some of your other posts. You seriously need to calm down and think about the things you're doing.

Maybe the reason you are drinking 10 litres of water a day is because you are seriously dehydrating yourself by drinking 15 cups of green tea a day? Seriously, think of how you are messing up your body with this. And now you want to stop exercising, return to your old bad diet, and start taking toxic fat burning pills?

    Come on. Use your brain...

As pepper is displaying pretty clearly in this post imho, any weight loss is meaningless without comittment, which she clearly hasn't got much of.

I lost three stone in two months on Lipotrim, i'm a further kilo + down since stopping that (on GI now for life) ..it all boils down to wanting to loose the blubber and making change in lifestyle.

No-one can loose weight and keep the same life style, its a simple as that, hard adjustment to make, but if you are a fatty like pepper (and ex-me) , you have to do it if you really want sustained weight control.

That's arrogance Longfield and isn't helpful at all.

One the velocity diet, yes a stone a month is quite achievable, on a proper calorie controlled diet more like half a stone.
