    From applehunter specs ?

It's a NVIDIA vanilla GeForce 6800 which is an alright GPU the current mid-range GeForce 7600GT is faster than it though.

applehunter is that 6800 not a typo ? on Dell's site I see only the 7300, X1900 & 7800 parts listed as options I would hope it is a typo if you intended to get a 7800 as there is a big difference between that & a 6800.

No it is the 6800. Why is that sh1te?

Im not too good at specs and stuff.

    Will it do the job?

No it's not crap but if its a vanilla 6800 in other words not a GT/GS/Ultra varient then it's performance is comparable to some of the curret generation midrange stuff.

How did you get the GeForce 6800 option when on the site they only have the GeForce 7 series as an option did they remove it over the past few days perhaps ?

Thats it. I ordered it last tuesday.

Have you any tips on getting free stuff from Dell. My friend who worked in Dell before said that you should ring up when the computer is in production and say you dont want the order anymore, and then they will haggle and you might get free anti-virus with it or a bag maybe.

    Anybody have this experience,
