I'm gonna post up some thoughts but for right now let me say that Oscar Fred and Dave O'Callaghan are on the last table and doing fine.

One player wins the ticket in to the last 72 in the UK. Worth about 22k.

edit: sorry this is all i have, very tired.

Anyway I played in this, winning my ticket in a sat. Great value since there were only about 50 runners. Didn't bother rebuying or topping up and since it was a freeroll basically I was able to mess around, which is just as well as I didnt catch a hand all night except near the end when I doubled up with pocket aces. Went out in 12th. Probably the least stressful game I've played in a long time but the other players spent about 500 each and were very tightly wound.

Roy the Boy, Paul from the Fitz, Chris Green and a few other regulars made the final table and anyone of them could win it.

And, of course, Paddy Hicks won the Omaha game. Again. About 3 out of the last four times he's played. He's one sick puppy.

Ended up chopping this with roy the boy, he got the ticket and I got €6k. Pretty good deal considering he had 320k to my 60k, but I'd love to have played it. There are still a few more sats going for it so I might give a few of these a shot. Not a bad night's work anyway :D .

Well done Dave, very tough final table.

And i'd say Roy's happy enough too. but i thought deals weren't allowed?

Well it wasn't officially a deal. Roy 'gave' me €6000 and I conceded the ticket to him. Luke still sent off an €18.7k cheque to Ladbrokes saying that Roy Brindley had won the seat.

I came 5th after having played really well up till the final table and then running out of cards - eventually got it all in with JJ against AJ.
