Does anyone have a inspiron 1300?

    Ok I am planning on buying a Super budget laptop, An inspiron 1300 with a

    Celeron M 1.5ghz
    256mb RAM (i will throw in a 512mb stick with it)
    DVD+/- RW
    WIFI
    14.1" 1200*800 widescreen
    56K modem
    90 day collect and return warranty
    1 year standard warranty

    All that come to comes to €470 including VAT and delivery:eek:

    Does anyone have this laptop? Whats it like?

    I will be doing a clean install of XP and I will be removing services and other crap that I dont need......

    Its a great laptop.I put a extra 512mb in to it and its very good believe it or not doing nero transcoding on dvds.
    But i would recommed the 15.4 and battery upgrade.

    Hi,i have the 15 and love it.Watching movies etc is great.Rather have 15" than 100 mhz extra tbh.

    get the extra memory from www.shop4memory.com rather then the Dell addon. You'll proberly save a packet.
