Just did a test drive on a 1990 GSX1100F and I'm picking it up on Tuesday. Just driving in first and the front wheel tries to lift, its amazing.

I don't really have much expierience driving bikes this big (coming from a 650) with a fairing. Can anyone offer some advice or if you have expierience with this particular bike.

I'll post pics of it next week when I get it. :D

Nice one, enjoy. Watch out on windy days, and take it easy with the trottle for the first few weeks.

What do you think ?? I'm not too mad about the colour. Any suggestions on what would look good on it.

Anyone any ideas about how much it would cost to spray something like this ?

The novelty wore off when I realised that the screen does nothing for a guy thats 6ft4in tall.

I brought this bike out for a bit of a run last Friday and spent 4 hours waiting for the recovery service to collect me after it broke down.

Its been back with the shop I bought it from since then. I spoke to them this morning and they told me that 2 of the 4 carbs had their overflow bowls connected together!!! And the spark plugs were all fouled.

Any suggestions on what I should do. Seriously thinking of telling them to shove it at this stage. This was ment to be a fully serviced bike when I bought it.

Get them to change the carbs and check out the rest of the bike yourself. It this the bikeshop that specialises in older bikes near a large river in Dublin? If you keep having trouble go to a solicitor if you're not happy with what the bikeshop is doing.
