Why do they always advertise with huge posters around the city centre, when it's only Trinity students that can go?

Why, cos it increases the relative exclusivity? (-=> thus increasing it's prestige?)

    Publicity for sponsors?

Are there any sponsors named on the poster this year? i haven't looked at it very closely.

can we put it in the charter that UCD be only called Belfield Tech?

I would guess that it's because graduates are allowed go. There's bound to be thousands and thousands of people around Dublin who are eligible to go but unlikely to hear about the year's event any other way.

If you've got it on the main student bus routes, it catches your eye. brings it to the forefront. anyhow its not an ents decision on a lot of those ones i think, apparently MCD are really driving to get it out there. for instance the mention of it in the Times Magazine
