I think since we've had so many new members (and so much heated debate!) that a boards meet is in order. For the unititiated, here's what happens:

We meet at a pre-arranged venue.
    We talk and introduce ourselves.
We spar in a given range- someone suggests or coaches an element.
We spar in another range- " " "
    " " "

And so forth. Then we finish by everyone picking each others brains.

So who's up for it? Make a few suggestions as to when and where too. As always I'll offer my facility, but a change would be nice there too.

Suppose I'd be on for it. I get cross when training sometimes. Meh heh heh, do you see what I did there?

Like a piehla you say? Sounds great. We can have some with the muffins :)

I'll make a damned decent attempt to get anywhere we decide to go.

If it's on in Galway I would probably be able to make it. Should be able to bring a few of those lurker types too. :)

So, is there a gang to get a train or would it be possible to wrangle a lift again? :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,191 ✭✭✭Unpossible

    So when would it be?

Anyone going from Kerry or Finland who would give me a lift?

Why not make it 2007 jeez!:D

Seriously though, let's try to make this happen with as many people included as possible. There are so many varying arts on here it would be great to put them into the melting pot and see what we turn out.

Sounds good. I'd be up for this.
Wear your own martial arts uniforms or just casual tracksuit etc?
Post location & time as soon as decided. June 24th seems ok

I had a great time at the last one (if it was the last one...) so if everyone's alright with a second guy in flares hanging around then I'd love to go along. I loved the jiu jitsu especially, I'd be well up for more of that.
