    My dad is changing his car and is lookin for something 04 1.4 (corolla ideally).

    My question is; is it worth coming back to 03 to get something like a 1.8 Volvo S40 that can run on LPG or a 2.0 Saab 9-3, which will cost more to tax and insure, but less to put fuel in

    I don't think there are too many places that sell LPG anymore. I used to have LPG in my 1989 Passat and it was so economical.
