Today in school I heard about this video that was doing the rounds. It was about a pig getting its head cut off with a chain saw. It is disgraceful and is the worst and most sickening thing that I ever seen. The pig is still alive when this happens. I couldn't believe my eyes when a few people started to laugh at it. I was really shocked. I would just say don't look at it, you won't like it. If you have seen it you will know what I mean. I hope the Ba*tards that are in anyway involved are done for it.

Nah come on lads. Now honestly, I do eat meat I admit that. But to cut the head off the pig when it is still alive is just nasty. Honestly it is sickining. It is crulty to animals, it is a disgrace and should not be tolerated. If it was a dog, would you feel different?

This pig obviously had its head cut off with a chainsaw for whatever purpose. The Op is posting because he finds it hard that A) this would happen and people would want to download and laugh at it

In fairness, it is bad.....but how is this so shocking when we've all heard, some seen the beheading of PEOPLE that are still alive. You should hear the noise they make when the saw is hacking through their neck.

the video in question is quite old, (around 2 years old), and afaik the people involved in it got arrested and fined.
Its an american video.

When I was a boy I seen a man try to kill a pig with a big knife. He went for the heart....unfortunately he got the wrong side and the pig walked around with a knife stuck in it. He got it eventually. It was very cruel.:mad:

There are a lot of cruel people out there, especially farmers. I know someone who used to kill cows with a sledgehammer. He said it used to go wrong often and they be in pain. The same man casterated his dog with the squezzers used on bulls.
I could tell you some more horror stories but I wont go on.

My advice is to get the video and hand it into the Gardai.

Well, very foolishly I thought I'd search on google for "beheading videos". Thought how bad could they be, probably just a bit like some bad horror movie. How wrong I was, came across a site and looked at two there. Got close to puking up, how can humanity be like this. My God, I think I am mentally scarred for life.

As I have said in the Animal issues form, anyone who inflects suffering or death on an animal should be put through the same torture themselves to see how they like it. I can't for the life of me see how anyone finds torture and bloodsports of any kind, involving animals, entertainment. There sure are some sick f***ers out there.:mad:

well, we dont do this to criminals who kill or injure other humans, why would we do it to people who injure animals.
Justice and cruelty should not go hand in hand. lets not start torturing people just yet, i think there is a bit of Humanity left in the rest of us

Any idea what kind of chainsaw it was? Maybe a Husqvarna 3120xp long reach chainsaw with a forged three-piece crankshaft for maximum durability for the toughest applications, superior power/weight ratio and 84 hp? If it was, its a bit overkill for a pig.

Yea that ogrish site is pretty bad. Was freaked out by rotten.com before but it pales in comparison.
Incedently the rotten.com libraries are excellent and I would recommend them to anyone. There's nothing graphic there just history and unbiased opinion.

None. I've seen it in real life. (Not with a chainsaw, though)

Call it like the STD briefings. Just watching one once can almost be enough to put you off sex for life, but it's still good policy to have to watch them every now and then. I've got gung-ho people who haven't seen death up close, a nice collection of videos might help reel them in a bit. I firmly believe these sort of 'viewer discretion' videos should be mandatory viewing for secondary-school through college kids.
