Away from Punchestown I see that Ballycassidy is racing in the 4pm at Perth. It's hard to forget how well it was traveling at Aintree when it fell. It looked like it was going to win. I think it can take advantage of the opposition and beat these comfortably, providing it can put in the same effort and stay on it's feet.

Oh my old pal is out again:D

Your right it was going so well at Aintree although the jockey said afterwards that it was tired. If it was tired why was it way out in front. The replay showed he had mud in his eyes before it fell which may be the real reason.

Anyway it loves the dry ground, it should have a nice win over the summer. Will have a look at it, cheers for that:)

I'm another who will be on Marta's Kinsman in the 4.00 at perth. I tipped this here lto and it ran a good race into third. As much as i like Ballycassidy i think the 21lbs that he gives the selection will make it very hard for him to win. Martha's Kinman's last win came over the progressive Dickensbury Lad who has since gone on to win again. The ground and trip are ideal and jockey too (R Johnson's only ride of the day!!).

You could be right in any event he will go close but ive been following Martha's Kinsman and with he carrying so little weight i think he will run a big race.

i got a tip for this horse today aswell and the tips rarely lose so i hope this one does it. he should take to the ground better than most of these.

    BEVERLEY 3:20 - SIR GERRARD.
this horse looks one for the future. he previously won a class 5 easily and is now upped to class 3.
he has only had two races. he won one and came fourth but when he came fourth , 1st place went to NARVIC and second place went to ACHILL. since then ACHILL has managed to win a class 2 race and is a horse that alot of people are looking at , while NARVIC is now with godolphin. SIR GERRARD only lost by 4 lengths and romped home in his next race so he should have a very good chance here in a very ordinary class 3.

Well Ballycassidy won and proved he is a spring horse but disappointed with Joes Edge to be honest last year I thought he had a big future thats not taking anything away from Ballycassidy who is a great horse and in fairness Peter Bowen said he would target big handicaps in the spring and this is definitely a just reward

Great to see him win that - was so deserving of a place for that 100-1 run in the National.

Well done to those on Ballycassidy. Was sickened when AcesFour won at 5/1, ive been tipping him here the last two times but he was well beaten in his last race and stayed away today:mad:

Tyzack in the 7.10 at Southwell looks the business and worthy favourite in search of a 5 timer. 3 of the wins have come at this track and beat Sir Bond who he will be opposing here lto and got up by a neck, that was over 7f and the step up tp 1mile should play to his strengths.

Crimson King in the 7.40 at Southwell is a horse with bright future ahead no doubt. Has only had 2 previous runs winning one and third in the other. In its last race it started off green but won comfortably over 6f at this track. its debut third was a fair effort too considering he was slow away whick is my only concern about this one.

    Maybe a nice double:p
