Seems like a great idea. Obviously guitarists would have to use a POD or similar.

I have, I've tried it, and I've bought one!!! Should be arriving any day now!!! Amazing amazing sound! Really is, and it really does fill every aspect of a room! Perfect for a solo performer, but if you are in a band, each member would have to have one, which is a bit expensive!! Not for everything, but as I say, fantastic for a solo act!"

Johnny Storm, why do you think the guitarist would need a POD?

Errrrrr ....:o ........I'm assuming you would need one to get the mondo distorto sounds that you would normally get from your back-line amp?

Good for you, that's more than I can do really. ;)
I was thinking that for an electric guitar you might need a POD or similar (or some pedals) to provide the distortion that you would normally get from a conventional guitar amplifier. I gather from your other posts that you mainly play acoustic guitar? If so, what I said would not apply.

My Pod XT actually has a setting to get the best out of this amp system......

How does the wattage compare to a conventional PA? Do you need an army of them?
