Sunday freeroll / Sunday poker steps in Galway

    Sunday freeroll
    Starts at 4pm. No registration fee. Unlimited rebuys until the frist break; 200 chips for €10. One topup during the first break; 200 chips for €10. The first rebuy is taken as rake, all the rest goes towards the prizepot. So €10 rake in total, no matter how many rebuys/topups. Guaranteed prizepool of €50 (step 2 voucher for the winner and step 1 voucher for the bounty). More/better prizes when there is more money in the prizepot. The bounty is won by knocking out last weeks winner. If (s)he rebuys, (s)he is not knocked out. If last weeks winner wins again, (s)he wins her/his own bounty. If last weeks winner isn't playing, last weeks runner up is chosen instead. If that person is not playing either, there is no bounty.

    Sunday poker steps
    Between 5pm and 9pm. All steps are 10 people single-table freeze-out tournaments.
    Step 1: €10 (9+1), first and second get a step 2 voucher, third gets a step 1 voucher (retry)
    Step 2: €40 (36+4), first and second get a step 3 voucher, third gets a step 2 voucher (retry), fourth gets a step 1 voucher (back)
    Step 3: €155 (147+8), first and second get €500 cash, third gets €275 cash, fourth gets a step 3 voucher (retry), fifth gets a step 2 voucher (back)

    These events are non-commercial, the money taken out is used to pay for rent/equipment etc. Organisors are jacQues / Imperium (086-3471879) and Jim / GamersRealm (091-563006)

    Location: 1st floor in the Bridge club, St. Mary's Road, Galway (this is near Cookes Corner)
    Game: Texas hold'em, standard casino rules apply
    Starting stack: 200
    Chip values: blue 1, red 5, green 25, black 100, yellow 500
    Blind levels: 1/2, 2/4, 4/8, 8/16, first break, 15/30, 25/50, 40/80, 60/120, second break, 100/200, 150/300, 250/500, 400/800, 600/1200, chip race during each break
    Blind duration: 15 minutes each, breaks are 10 minutes each
    Cash value: all vouchers can be exchanged for their cash value (i.e. €10, €40, €155) except on the day they are given out
