    iiyama are bretty much the best. A lot of graphic designers and video editors use them.

    I've been using a 19" CRT model ( HM903DT ) for the past few years and find it very good.

    There are two faint black lines on the CRT I have but the booklet mentioned it. Can't remember why now. They aren't very noticable though. Not an issue on the flat panels

    Have no experience with the TFT models but mine has never given any trouble and it's had some heavy usage.

    the wires are for grounding and completely normal.

    With that in mind, I assume they use, or at least have in the past used Sony CRT's?
