Refunds on travel to Egypt

    I am supposed to be travelling to Egypt in a months time where i was hoping to go see the sites and spend a week in dahab scuba diving. Given the latest atrocities there i am not very willing to travel. I booked my tickets with Air France who will not refund the air fare or allow us to travel to another destination. Does anyone know is there a loop hole out of the fights or any way to get our money back. And if this is an option and we have to go ahead with the trip does anybody have ideas on another destination in egypt. Thanks for any help.

    As I understand it, your only hope is if the goverment put it on a list of places not safe for travel....

    Afraid i got no travel insurance. I was hoping they would just allow us to travel somewhere else of the same value.
