Where to stay in Paris

    Travelling to paris 28th August for 5 days, flights by Air lingus, 3day hopper passes for Disney. Hope someone can help me with Hotel. Should i stay in paris and travel to disney or stay in disney and travel to paris?

    Stay in Paris and travel to Disney would be my answer but I'd also be the type of person to say that 3 days in Disney is 2 too many :)
    Though I've never been to the movie section which should eat up a second day at least.

    It all depends on what you expect from the holiday? The hotels will be cheaper in Paris but you'll spend 40mins on the high-speed train to and from the city.

    Hi me and my boyfriend were in paris in march (surprise birthday present) and stayed at
    The tulip Inn marne la valle. It is 2 stops away from disney land-about 5 mins and also 1 stop from val de europe which is a massive big shopping centre and outlet store.the hotel is across the road from the station.Excellent value too. it took about 20 mins to get in to paris but if you plan on spending those 3 days in disneyland it would be quite costly to travel in and out every day...cant remember how much it was but it was nearly ten euro each i think. I good tip is to consider getting a paris visit card. its 50 euro but will cover all your travel for the 5 days to and from the airport and anywhere else you travel to in between.anyway if you want more info just let me know.

    True, a 5-zone travel card valid for 3 days will set you back €38 (Paris is in zone 1&2, Disney in zone 5) so could be a good idea.

    If you have young children with you I 'd recommend the Holiday Inn in Marne la Vallée www.holidayinn.fr great internet prices, pool complex and very child orientated!

    Will this travel card cover all travel? Where do i buy one? What was the shopping like?

    Any metro station will sell you one.

    covers all buses and metros/RER.

    I was at Disneyland Paris last week and we stayed in the Disneyland Paris Holiday Inn (2nd time there)and had a family room with breakfast included. It is a nice hotel and child friendly and has a swimming pool.
