    W00t!
First vol is a legend of a game ost. Should have won the boards award that year but too many n00bs voted for GTA: SA vastly inferior ost.

    /me rubs hands.

Meh from me as well. Apart from 3 standout tracks the rest is quite dull. The first Halo game OST was far superior. Have to agree about the GTA:SA soundtrack. It was a rather dull collection of songs with only a few decent ones. Compared to Vice City it was awful.

Anyway if you want to here how videogame music should be done, get the soundtrack to Shadow of the Colossus or Panzer Dragoon Orta.

Edit: On a side note those 'inspired by' tracks on the first volume were absolutely atrocious. Nobody wants to listen to Hoobastanks, incubus or whatever, and even less people if it's possible want to listen to their rejected B-sides and album fillers.

Good choice. No regrets had a great soundtrack as well.

I bought the GTA VC soundtrack a couple of years ago and was well impressed, then got the San Andreas pack of discs for Xmas and in a word was disappointed, missed the DJ banter and a lot of the better in game tracks were missing, the ads didn't seem as funny either, Salivex, sweet!
May get this Halo 2 vol 2, sounds good.
