I wouldn't say it's worth the money. Wait a couple of months or spend a bit more money, you won't see a huge performance boost.

http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=318805 that would probably give you a decent speed boost though.

The X1600XT gets annihilated by the 7600GT in this review.

http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=318813 this would thrash them all again though...

Up to how much cash you want to drop really, but the x1600xt looks like a total piece of crap after 30 seconds on google.

There not enough gain to justify getting another card. Either wait for the next generation of mid-range cards or get a high spec one now.

Yeah the X1600XT gets it's ass handed to it by NVIDIA's 6600GT and 7600GS and 7600GT not good part from ATI. Clock speed alone is not a factor to judge the power of a GPU.

If you want the next card up from ATI which is actually faster than the 7600GT its the X1800GTO they go for around €260. It's basically a cut down X1800 GPU but it's a pretty good card all the same but slightly more expensive than the 7600 cards.

If you want to hold out for something cheaper from ATI they are launching a X1700 series to compete with the 7600 GPUs but whose knows when those will show up.

Only upgrade if you really feel the need to or are unhappy with your current setup.
