Hi I Just installed Picasa and I've noticed that my photos are being organised by date but that some of them are showing the wrong date.

Some of these are scans, while others had the wrong date preset on my digital camera.

What I'd like to do is change the date in the EXIF/Metadata so the photos are organised correctly. Anyone know of any program that will do this for me?

jhead is a free EXIF editor developed for Linux but i think theres a win 9x version too. It might be command line, so maybe not to everyones taste.

two pilots is the name of the prog costs very little. Windows driven dialogs and fields etc.

Photoshop can edit exif data too i'm sure. But be careful as opening, editing and saving Jpegs several times can result in loss of quality. Much better to get a prog that just edits the EXIF data itself.

Theres lots of freeware and shareware progs available too

you'll find lots others on Google search :)
