What happens to the stuff that Lidl and Aldi don't sell in their weekly rotation of specials ? And more importantly any chance they would still have some stuff in their stores from late last week and sell to me ?

I'm looking to get one of their fly fishing rods that I missed out on last week.

I think they keep it to they sell it all, because I've seen stuff in the shop still on special form the previous week, but I couldn't tell you for sure.

Sometimes it stays there. I'd imagine if they have a signifigant amount of (non-perishable) stock, it might go back to Aldi's distribution centre until the next time it's offered.

Lidl still have a rake of fishing gear in Clondalkin, not sure about the fly fishing rod though.

    Stan,
    I wouldn't bother with the Lidl fly-rod.
It is poorly balanced and it is really hard to throw a good line with it. Their spinning gear is good enough quality for the price, but the flyfishing outfit falls short of the mark. :(
