[Request] External Hard Drive

    Hi,

I've started the process of recording all my vinyl to MP3, and so have to get some kind of backup sorted out. I'm thinking an external USB hard drive would do the job nicely.

Any suggestions as to where to buy?

Was looking on Komplett, there's a Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 160GB for 115 Euro, which I'm thinking would be sufficient, or maybe the 250GB for 140 Euro just to be sure.

    Any better prices for these?

Trying to get the price down, not up, I'd say 250 should be sufficient for me (for now anyways!)

Never heard of Memup - any use? Would be thinking Western Digital would be a safer bet for only a tenner more, but maybe that's just because I've never heard of the other crowd

Nope, told by assistant in shop that they don't take them but they are working on an Irish version of their site.
